So a few days ago I noticed a hovering out of the corner of my eye. I turned my head to look out the window and what do I see? A humming bird! I have not seen a living breathing humming bird in 7 years. I told Khornesone when he got home that I wanted a humming bird feeder and he asked me why? I told him that they are very soothing to me and it would please me to be able to watch them outside the window.



He chuckled some and then chuckled some more and finally told me if I wanted one to get one. So, I did. :D



Today I was in the kitchen and happen to be looking through the living room, and what do I see? You guessed it, a humming bird at the feeder!! I excitedly exclaim to Wolfbite and her brother that there is one at the feeder and both quickly go to look. They get as close as they can without scaring it off. Khornesone looks up and sees it, comments simply "Cool" and it fly’s away.



I think it is great!!

Come to find out, after talking with Khornesone later on in the evening that he had never seen a live humming bird before. So that was his first. He said he was amazed at how well the bird moved and how fast the wings are fluttered.



I look forward to future sightings of humming birds at the window. :)

I think it's Kontradiction who is due to post some pics of her humming birds feeding very soon.



I've never seen a live one myself so I'm looking forward to it.

I've never seen a humming bird alive.. I would love to see a humming bird, get a picture of it, so I can see it's little wings extended but not moving..
